Mixcraft 7, mic not showing up

So I have Mixcraft 7, and a Behringer U-Phoria. The mic is plugged into the interface channel 1 and showing signal, the track is armed and I've selected the input as Midi Channel 1 U-Phoria...but I'm not getting signal on the track.....

You can't record a microphone or other audio source on a MIDI track. Try using an audio track and it should work.

Yes virtual tracks in Mixcraft are easily identified by the piano icon on their left. Audio tracks don't don't have that icon. Arm an audio track with your input of choice by clicking the drop down menu next to the arm button.
Mixcraft 8 is out now by the way, the pro version includes Melodyne essentials integrated right into the sound editor.
