microsoft gs wavetable, VST instruments and playback time gaps

hi

I have a project of a few midi tracks using microsoft gs wavetable and a few using VST instruments.
there seems to be a gap, a time difference - in playback between the two.....seems like the tracks that are using VST instruments come earlier...the ones using wavetable are heard with a certain amount of delay (latency?) after those....

how can I fix that ? what is causing it ?

Stop using MS wavetable. Period.

It's in there for games to generate sound and shouldn't be used in music production.
 
you're actually right.
after playing with it a bit, it seems I can't export those track as an audio file in my audio editing software....
forget it, I'll use my VST for all tracks
