I was listening to my synth on the 'puter whwn it stopped making noise. I checked on my device manager and found that the MPU is disabled or not there. Not what the heck do I do?
Anyone know where I can get another one?

Have you tried reinstalling your soundcard? Remove it in device manager and reboot. It should reinstall the drivers. It may also ask you for a driver disk, so you might want to download drivers for it.
