hey guys, can you please help me ?

So at first i was going to buy the Samson C01u pro and Creative X-FI Surround Pro 5.1 for doing this... But as i learn more i understand that's not the best choice right ?
So i was thinking of a rode nt1-a but that's a bit expensive for me because i also want to buy the behringer xenyx 1002 as a mixer and amp for the mic ( i think that's a better choice for the money right, i also have a mixer and an amp to power the mic, also it's fast usb connected)... What do you think it's the best choice for me ? As in mic, soundboard and amp / mixer... I am desperate, this is just a big headache for me as i am a newbie and i don't have a big buget to spend on these..

I do have like 250$ to spend on these and i want the best quality for this budget...

I am really sorry if i didn't post in the right section !!

The Xenyx is a pretty compromise product for any upgrading later - your budget is a bit tight for upgrading - mixin in the computer makes so much more sense - maybe with a budget version of cubase? After all - two tracks is very limiting for vox, and stereo track isn't it. The Samason mic, by the way isn't a bad mic at all! The creative product is not a music producers device - loads of music people complain on the net about issues, but maybe a second hand multi-input preamp?

@rob aylestone Thank you for your response, means a lot for me

Ok i will stay with the Samson then, what other product than the creative you recommend ? Also, can i plug the usb mic into a preamp ?

Do not buy a USB mic. Some USB mics do have XLR output, but most do not.

Get a condensor mic and a USB audio interface.

For your limited budget, start with a Behringer UNC22 interface - just $40. https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/UMC22 It'll get you started, there are other choices but will set you back more money. If you can scrape up another $20 go for that Rode mic, otherwise look at the AT2020: https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/AT2020
You're gong to need some good headphones, and a mic stand too. Monitors and acoustic treatment for your recording/mixing space come later.

Hey, thanks for your answer, i did buy the AT2020, as headphones i bought some akg k44. What good alternative to Behringer UMC22 there is ? Is Behringer Um2 a good choice ?

Any particular reason to not go with the UMC22? One difference between the UMC22 and UM2 that stands out is the UM2 has 'unbalanced' RCA outs for monitors(speakers), where the UMC22 has 'balanced' 1/4" jacks. Most decent monitors will have 1/4" balanced inputs. Connecting the UM2 RCA's to 1/4" monitor inputs isn't really the best way to go. The extra $10 for the UMC22 is worth it. Next step up in interfaces will be into the $100 range.

I would have recommended getting a second hand SE2200 or second hand Rode NT2a and a new MKII Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 but I got here late.
I actually make hip hop and the SE is what I use currently - it's clean with plenty of body and none of the fizz (instead of air) you get with cheaper mics such as the NT1a and below.
