Hello. Totally new to this forum and relatively new to recording, so if this question is misplaced, my bad.
Using a dell pc running windows XP. I want this all to work on Mixcraft 3 if possible.
I just bought the Alesis i02, a mic cable, and a sterling st51 mic today from the guitar center. I got home, hooked everything up the way i was supposed to, went through the "new usb" thing, and then went to mixcraft. When I went to record (would i be here for any other reason?) there was no sound being recorded. I tried just about everything i've seen out there, and even called the Guitar Center, but the guy I talked to wasn't very familiar with XP. If you have anything to help, let me know! thank you.
