Distorted Sound Saffire Pro 40 and G-Major 2

Hi guys i recently got myself a saffire pro 40 and a g-major 2 when i record my guitar i get this distorted sound and i cant figure out why this is happening its the same with g-major connected i connect my guitar with a normal guitar jack and the monitors are not distorted this happens only when i record i tried audacity and reaper please help and thank you for your answers.

Hi Vagesky and welcome.
First job, forget the TC FX box for now and plug the guitar straight into the "High Z/Instru" input of the interface.
Next ensure that you have the latest driver installed for the AI for the OS. Find the buffer size selection menu and ensure you don't have an usually small size selected. 256 samples should be fine in most cases.

Where are your recording levels at? Audacity has -18dB marked on its meters, that is where the bulk of your signal should be with only very occasional peaks to -6dB(FS) NEVER higher!

And finally, post a sample of the distorted sound if those measures do not improve things.
