Hello everyone,
i am new to recording but i try to understand that.
Our school bought a Fireface UFX II and i want tu use it with cubase. Wat i do in cubase is that i go to the vst connections setup and i try to set up a studio. Headphones for musicians, and my monitors....... but its very hard with this interface because you have to do it with the fireface ufx mixer driver. when i connect a mic you can hear it in the speakers even when cubase is off. I also dont know with this interface how to select a mic in cubase. In your input section and in your studio section you have just anologue 2 anologue 3 (Photo - Google+) i connect the mic to channel 9 but my headphones are also 9 so it cant be twice anologue 9. its strange. And how can i now which anologue are my speakers

my speakers are in: Balanced line level outputs 3 and 4
my headphones are in: headphones 9/10
my mic is in: mic line 9

mayby you can help me how to set up the cubase studio function so that i can control headphones and monitor speakers from the control room menu. And is there any option to dont use fireface ufx mixer driver?????
Thank you for your help.
with greets,
Dennis S.
