Balanced output to unbalanced input?

i'm using a balanced cable to connect this, anything wrong? or i'm using the wrong cable, i heard they make balanced cable at one end going out to unbalanced at the other end. I've been using it like this without realizing my input is unbalanced haha.

NVM, i found the answer, the result is an unbalanced connection, but everything is fine.

It makes no difference. You'll have a small drop in signal level is all. As long as the cables are no longer than 10' you shouldn't pick up any hum.
