Background Noise?

Is your computer's built-in soundcard in the loop at all?

I wonder why this kind of reaction comes up many times.
So may i ask why? Can this be said as 'standard'? What if it is a Hy Def sound card?

Why i ask? I'm not afraid to use my Hy Def sound card and hardly to not have noise (accept for some minor analogue white nois). So IMO this ain't a standard problem.
And this is not the first PC with HD sound card that i had.

There's a hundred reasons but no need to go beyond the most obvious.
The OP has a USB mixer with I/O. It replaces the onboard card.

I just asked wondering why this is said so many times while my experiences aren't that bad with it. Nothing more.
Yeah, it's hit and miss.

Setting the quality of the device aside, the majority of issues arise from less than ideal power supply, questionable grounding and/or proximity of unbalanced analog audio circuits to stacks of other 'noisy' circuits.

The OPs issues may or not be anything to do with that, but it's worth checking that the discrete device with balanced audio and some additional power filtering is being used for in and out.
