Hey,
I've got a pretty basic setup at the moment with a Tascam 144 Audio Interface. I've just replace my RCA cables to my Rokit 5's with balanced RCA>XLR cables and seem to have lost quite a bit of volume in the process.
I'm keen to keep the balanced connection but want more volume. Is there any kind of amp that I can put inbetween the AI and my monitors? I also think my headphone volume is very low too (ATH-M50's).
Any advice is appreciated. Should I just get a better AI? Cash is very much in limited supply as my Wife has just been into my loft/studio for the 1st time in months and spotted lots of new shiny things that she didn't know about ... lol! .... " Oh I've had that for ages babe!!".... DOH!!
