my cover of "You Are" by Colton Dixon

Excellent performance and nice video. The guitar sounds a bit overcompressed when the chorus sets in though..

Cool man, Good to see you.
I've been keeping track of your FB photography. Some pretty nifty shots man!

Still using those WBS pres?

Eugh. I have a video project in the near future myself.
I'm not skilled/experience/interested in video, but I'm kinda heading up an album launch project for a friend and doing a video is part of that.
Absolutely no idea what we're going to do!

We just shot him playing against a simple backdrop last time. Kinda looking to do something more creative this time.

Well that's a pretty nice video for "not knowing what you're doing" :P

Hire me. ;)

Nah, I'm sure you'll do great.

Good performance on the song. Enjoyed the video.

A couple of thoughts:

I think transitions in the slow parts should be short cross fades instead of cuts to help fit to the pace of the song. Then as it builds use straight cuts.
It would be nice to depict the subject of the song if you can. A girl or your favorite tree or something.

That's a good point on the transitions. I just don't use a lot of fades, usually.

Good job dude!
Thanks, man!
