Music video production equipment essentials

What do you consider some of the essentials for shooting a video? If you're low on a budget, what do you suggest? I made my first music video recently that you can find here: Drake - Started From The Bottom [Protocall remake] - YouTube
- any feedback you can provide on this would be great!!
(used Cyberlink PowerDirector 11, really buggy software as it crashes every 10 minutes)

I'm in the process of making my next music video, but definitely want to increase the video production value

I legit have a $60 tripod and some sony camcorder that shoots HD.

what are some additional things you can suggest for a low budget music video production to increase the value of the video? Possibly other types of mounts and equipment that can capture different angles? Please advise

Thank you :)

Better editor for cheap: Sony Vegas Studio (<$50)

I've done music videos, commercial videos, airshows, 2-hour multi-camera plays, etc.
Easy to use, no fail, no crashes.

And there are lots of DIY pages around the web where you can build steadycam and other mounts for cheap (<$20).
Look around.
