iphone, galaxy s2, ipad, macbook pro video cameras?

so im thinking of making some dumb music videos for this reggae project im doing. we just want to mess around. some of them are going to be doing stupid dances others are gonna be live videos with some kind of stupid plot happening and most are probably going to be just us throwing a house show/party and recording stuff thats going on and what not. but the idea is to just use the cameras from all the devices listed above and maybe just have one actual some good hd camera.

any thoughts on doing this?
 
Can't speak for the other devices but the iPhone 4 and above have great cameras IF you have good lighting. Once you have good lighting and composition, the quality is there.
 
Only thing is, good lighting and house parties don't often go together. In a typical dark party the iPhone will try to adjust and get very grainy. You will likely need to compromise between "party dark" and "studio bright" in terms of lighting intensity.
 
Use your one good HD video camera as much as you can... and just cut in bits and pieces of grainier phone footage could work well... you can easily mess with the good footage via plug ins to get it all to mash in together if it's all a bit clean.. assuming you have an editing program, that is..
 
well thats the one thing that wed want to be somewhat like an actual video. just having it lit well so it doesnt look like complete bull hoggy. lol. but yeah honestly we were just gonna use imovie to edit all this stuff together.
