Hello everyone !!

I have a Shure SVX14/PG30 wireless mic, and a Sony HDR PJ 380 video camera. I use a XLR to Stereo connector to connect my mic to my camera. However I m getting only one channel audio( Left ). If I use the camera without the mic input, it gives me a stereo output ( both audio channels ). Please advise how do I get a stereo output.

Thanks in advance,
Alok

You get this because your mic is a mono source. You can get an adaptor wired to feed the same thing to both sides like THIS one claims to do...or if you're at all good with a soldering iron, just wire a link in your 3.5mm jack connecting the tip and the ring together to the same XLR out (probably pin 2). The earth/ground--pin 1 is connected to the sleeve.
