What if Tom Petty covered Led Zeppelin?

Hi,
I just picked up a Pearlman TM- 1 last week (from a true gentleman on the GS Classifieds).
LOVE this mic!!
It's nice to hear on a recording exactly what's in my head for a change.
I had a question about the mic and emailed Dave Pearlman.
Got a response in less than 10 min.!!!
Never had service like that (except at Mercenary).

Recorded a tune quickly as an excuse to use the mic.
Anyone wondering what a Pearlman sounds like on a real singer, this is not the place...

But I had a good time, I'm thrilled with my purchase, and solved the mystery of what it would sound like if Tom Petty covered Led Zeppelin.

I'm sure nobody's ignoring you deliberately. :)
Some threads fall through the cracks occasionally, for some reason.

I heard this a few days ago but couldn't comment at the time. Now, I can't listen again because I'm at work. But I remember thinking that this sounds damn good, man. Everything sounds well produced and performed, and a good choice of tune to cover. If I remember correctly, the drums sounded a little mechanical, but the sound of them was good.

BEAUTIFUL! Well done! :)
The acoustics sound beautiful and your voice is great, lots of character....and this is coming from a die-hard Zeppelin fan. Love the sound of the drum-kit, nice and roomy, electrics, piano roll and slide guitar are spot-on. I just can't praise it anymore, I really enjoyed this!
Where can I hear more of you ?????:):):)

Cheers
Joe

I agree with Joe, but I wouldn't mind a "hit-you-in-the-gut" bass track ala JPJ after the drums kick in. Very well done.
