A song I've been working on

There is something going on with all the guitars. Too soft and in my opinion not bright enough. Have you added reverb on them? They sound very distant, especially the solo. Also, the vocals do not sound as "one" with the instruments. This could be due to the fact that the rest of the music is soft as mentioned above. The vocals also sound very dry especially at beginning. Its a great start. just needs a better mix.

I didn't think the vocals were so dry, I gained up the reverb now.
with the guitars, you have any suggestion to me how to make it more clear? I've lowered the reverb, and put a little exciter.. it sounds better, there is another thing to put on it?

On your guitars, just try EQ'ing them a little at a time(+1db - +2db) in the mid high range. I think the problem is that the vocals are so clear and precise and the guitars are not. So they are not meshing together very well. If the guitars were a little brighter it would open up the mix some. Play around with the EQ a little and post the newer version and we can see if it feels any better.
