Snowflake

It's an attractive composition. The drums aren't pulling their weight. It sounds like they are there to keep time rather than build up a groove that draws you in.
 
Yeah, I'd be inclined to bump up the snare a little bit; it's kind of buried. Otherwise, it seems to be a pretty solid mix. Nice song!

Sweet tune! From a sound perspective, it's fine. The snare is a bit cliche, but we all started like that. I liked the movement, the way you took the song from A to B (not musical notes!). I could see bits of this song being in a commercial. You created a bit of tension, I imagine you're learning your synths and sounds, but you did a nice job and it's pretty.

What I'd like to hear is some deeper bass and a voice singing the song - and like the others say, some weight to the snare - the song is one that should be accentuated by the drums. Listening to Bowie's Blackstar, he seems to start the mix with the drums and then pull everthing else in.
