Rudimentary cover of Carmelita

The Warren Zevon version is well outside my pay grade... this cover is closer to the GG Allin version.

In my opinion this is the best song I ever recorded, possibly because the bleak lyrics and tone suit the "imperfect" nature of my recordings. Or maybe it's just such a well-written song that it can't be screwed up.

I also learned that if you screw around with the knobs on a peavey vypyr 2 long enough, you will find a tone that sounds like a kazoo. Though I don't think I'll ever use it again.

Any comments/criticism welcome.

Hey man, i guess it is what it is, and i don't know the original. The recorded sound was fine, i could hear everything, and given the nature of the song, perfection isn't really something that would fit, i s'pose, and not knowing what the originals sounded like, can't compare. I got a laugh out of it, and i mean that in a good way... i don't mind a bit of imperfecton
