working on recording a new song for my band, rearview..

having a bit of trouble getting things to sit right, the mix sounds, dark, muddy and such .. ( well u listen for yourself)

my biggest issues seem to be the Bass guitar ,i cant seem to make it clear and enhance clarity in hearing the melody with out overpowering....... and the clean guitar with the effect on it

any advice on how i could clean up/improve this mix

there are a few probs with this mix & the distorted guitars just make it worse when they come in.
The bass guitar needs some defining. Try pulling out some of the frequencies it shares with the guitar. Or yank out a chunk of middle from it.
The 1st ditorted guitar sounds like a dry solder problem as it begins.
The drums are altogether another prob. How many tracks of drum are there?
I think you should pull all panning to centre & then try to fix your balance problem there. After you have an OK sound you can then start to pan, minimally.
