New Track: Gentleman

let me know what you think of this new track :) its out of the norm of music i usually make, but i thought i'd appeal to a different demographic
 
Okay, I gave this a listen. Gotta say I'm impressed with the rapping. There's a lot of words packed in there and you got through them all. LOL I think there are some timing issues, though, but easily overlooked due to the nature of the song.

Now, that snare has got to go. It's horrible.

The rest of the mix sounds pretty good.
 
Yep, timing issues throughout. It is one thing to get slinky with the spit's. It is not good when it comes across as late/out of time. Many times I felt like you were busy thinking about your lines before you threw em out. You lost the groove at those points.

I have to agree with Chili's opinion on the snare. Not working at all. I would replace that first off.



Whoa! What's up with the opera track? Snare still sucks, but someone has some pipes!
 
I need a lyric as I can listen that fast.
OK, though the snare is, well you've heard already.
