Don't think I've posted this. I still like the song and miss playing rock bass after doing jazz and bossa for a long time.

Sounds a little like Orange Juice in a jazzier moment.
The mix sounds like it suffers from the limitations of a portastudio tape machine.
Some good stuff to work with though. Then again there're some less useful bits like the noodly guitar which is, generally, way too loud etc etc.

yes, there is a lot of etc, etc... and not just the noodly guitar. My buddy's a noodly guitar guy. It's his way.
