Ledges by Tyler Z - Hear the world’s sounds

First time trying to mic my guitar, since the direct in doesn't sound good at all (look at my other recordings). Also threw in some piano and strings for good measure.
Hit me with your thoughts! All instruments and the vocals are me; I welcome feedback on performance/technique for any of them, as well as my mixing/recording. Thanks guys!

The acoustic is lacking low end and warmth that I would have liked.

What guitar is it? And how exactly did you mic it?

The vocals were good.

I agree that the acoustic has little body.

The vocals were a bit muffled during the verse. Just too quiet. They come out great during the chorus.

It's a yamaha ac3r, mic'd with my only microphone (mxl 990) about 6" away in front of where the neck meets the body. I've got a low pass filter at about 150Hz. I agree it's lacking the low end but I'm not sure how to get that without it sounding muddy. I've got elixir light strings too, so the guitar doesn't have a whole lot of low end to begin with.

Thanks everyone for the feedback!

Would simply bringing up the volume in the verses work for the mic? I'm not sure how else to bring them out - it's lower in my range and so I can't really sing it loudly.
