I really think you need more convincing midi sounds. What are you using?
Those tones sound like 8 bit Nintendo to me. I'm sorry.

The timing is a little bit off in a way I can't explain. Like sometimes it's ahead, sometimes behind, and sometimes on the beat. So it never really sits in the pocket.
