Wow some awsome violin playing!
Sounds like it needs some reverb to fit in the mix better though.
And mabey a tad to loud.
IMHO.

Really good songwriting!

I heard the original version. The violin is mixed into too distractingly. It sounds nice but does not blend in at all. First line kind of clashed with the guitar a bit. I think Muse recomended a touch of verb, which is good...but you're going to want a bit of panning and to back off the fader a touch I think. Just opinions. Still love the song and the voice.

Thanks for the suggestions guys! I'll pass them along to my musical director (maestro DavidK) - this was just an ad-lib piece by him, but I think he did it well, and was honored to have him volunteer the track. If I could play like that I'd never leave the house.

Pretty cool, Bob. Great song and vocal sound. Those drums sound awesome. The hat sounds a little robotic but that snare sounds awesome. A little hall reverb on the violin would help a lot. Thats a great track he did.
