Garage Rock Song work in progress

Hey all,
I recently recorded a garage rock style song, so far I have the whole backing track done. I'm just going to add lead guitar in next but first I wanted some feedback on the quality of the backing track.

I know its "garage" but the drums seem very distant compared to the "in your face" guitars. Maybe pull a verb out of the drums and pull the guitars back a touch and add a little verb to them to try and put them in the same space.

Ok, I'll try that, does the reverb tend to make the instrument sound like its behind everything else?

yes right now it sounds like the drums are in a small warehouse and the guitar amp is sitting right in front of you. Verb will lend it some space and distance. Reverb is an art though...a little goes a long way.
