Hi I just posted my first attempt at electronic prog rock and I am having troubling locking in the perfect drum groove. I'm sure I have the correct drum parts it's the feel that I cannot quite get. I have an option called groove quantize in my piano roll and I assume that's what I need to be focusing on. Here is the song
I think the drum feel is the song's weakest link and would appreciate any advice on how to make it feel less robotic. I use Sonar X1 but am wondering about all the standard electro DAW's like ableton, fruity loops and reason. Should I be on a different program entire or is Sonar good enough?
