Dream of a Guitar

This is the first instrumental song I made. I made it together with a friend of mine and we made it using singstar microphones, a semi acoustic western guitar, and a mixing program. And i want to know what you think about it.

I really dig the song and it came out really well.

The solo at 0:45 seems a hair overpowering, I might pull that back a bit and maybe tone down the chorus (but that's more of a personal taste thing). Also the whole things sounds very dry, but that might have been what you were shooting for. I still might experiment with adding just a little reverb.

I would have loved to have heard it with a fuller sounding acoustic guitar but that might just be a function of what you have available.

i'm going to buy a new mic because the dry sound is also because of the singstar mic. do you guys know what's a good allround mic, that can be used to record voices as wel as accoustic instruments??
