Coming back from throat cancer

After being in remission for about a year, I saw the movie "Grand Torino" and heard Jamie Cullium's beautiful song of the same name. At the time, I could barely speak above a whisper. In fact, if you remember the song from the movie, Clint Eastwood sings the first verse with his raspy, whispery voice. Mine was pretty much the same, so I decided that I would try do do the song. Since then, my injured voice has improved by a fraction but I will never be the singer I once was. But I will continue to bash it out because it's what I do.

Beautiful piano intro.
Beautiful melody of singing and piano. Emotional singing.
I think if you compress the voice a bit more to make it evener you could bring the volume of the singing up and the quieter parts are better to hear. But its already good as is.
I think its beautiful. I see no problem with the singing. I would say with the story it even is more heartbreaking than without.
