Call Back The Missiles" last song for 2017.

I wrote this song with a presidential term in mind. The chorus was written around the fact that the president thought that missiles could be called back. He had to be told that we could not call back the Missiles. "The President incorrectly asserted that ''submarine ballistic missiles are recallable''. This song was written for it's historic value. It doesn't hold any political view of mine at all.

Well, that's appropriate timing!

The big thing that sticks out is that the piano and drums sound super-canned. Since they're among the first instruments, it gives a midi-feel to the whole track. I'd read up on getting VSTi drums sounding realistic.

Synths and vocals sound good tho.
 
Song writing is good, vocals sound good. Music sounds dated. Although the keys sound dated, it may be more the drums than anything else. They sound lackluster and without life. Like VHS stated, read up on programming drums and seriously look into something like addictive drums or superior drums for upping your game.

Also, as a side note, the line in the chorus "Call back the missiles, Their course is a mistake" the second part of that is a little awkward as if it has too many syllables. Try taking out "is" and see if it works better maybe? Just my thoughts, good job though
 
The sounds do give it a mid-80s sound. I'm not fond of the piano hard panned as it is. As Brut mentions, the vocal phrasing is a little awkward in places, some syllable trims might help.
 
I like the singer's voice. It's a bit forward in the mix tho.

Lots of keyboard parts. But to me, there should be a guitar in there.

The drums are mechanical and a bit far back in the mix.

And yes, the timing was fortuitous. :)
