Im producing my sons band (15/16 year olds) out of detroit and for the 1st time recorded live drums on my notebook computer. Mind you I don't have a sound booth or anything, just a bedroom in my house and no sound absorbtion of any kind. I'm using cubase sx, a joe meek mq3 and an line 6 guitar port. As for mics I have a beyerdynamic mc834 n (vocals and drum overhead), audix i5 (snar drum), blue kickball (bass drum) and an electro voice n/d 757 (hi hat). I'm looking for a space where I could set things up permanent but don't really have the funds right now. Anyways check them out... Feedback is always welcome.
