I want to upgrade my M-audio monitor speakers to Yamaha. I don't need more power or volume, just better quality. With regard to this, should i get the MSP3 or MSP5?

Power wise, is the M-audio and MSP3 the same?

    Thanks.

If you're using the 8's, you'll probably be happier if you stick with them. If you're using the 5's... You'll still probably be happier if you stick with them.

I'm just not too wild about the new Yammies...

Just my opinion, of course. You should go out and try as many as you can in your price range for sure.

    Thumbs up MSP5

I have been happy using my MSP5...

I wouldn't recommend the MSP3, they would make very good computer speakers...

KRK monitors have been very highly recommended too, check them out.

And the end of the day, it'll boils down to your personal preference and budget!!
