After much thought I finally decided to go for the Yamaha MG10/2 which was a great price £68.00.
It has ten channels and a 3 band EQ on each channel .

The music shops did'nt have the Tapco blend 6 and this seemed the best deal for the price I usd it for the first time today at a gig and I am well pleased with the quality, great mic pre's.

Far better sound quality then my compact behringer Eurorack UB 802.I now know why many here are not too keen on the behringer gear.

is anyone here famillier with the Yamaha MG10's

I've got a 10/2. I wanted something to plug a CD player, guitar and headphones into for private practice. It's very useable, and I'm glad I didn't have to buy a Behri.

The differeance I noticed with the yamaha and the behringer, although the Behri is a lot louder though you have to put the volume up a bit with the Yamaha the sound is much more fuller and cleaner where the behringer is more tinney and too boomy.

I am well peased with my yamaha.

I would have brought a Soundcraft compact 4 but they did'nt have any aux channels which I really need to run my individual effects.
