Where Can I Get Free Sound FX?

Does anyone know of a site where I could get some royalty free sound effects for little to no money?

In particular, I'm looking for an air-raid siren. There are plenty of royalty-free air-raid sirens out there to download, but they're all 8-bit crappers. I just want a quality air-raid siren!

Have you searched particularly for wav. files? They are most often better bit-wise. I know I have stumbled on a few sites in the past that are good for this type of need. Keep looking.
