I didn't know exactly what Forum to post this, but if any of you folks out there can find the vinyl I will name in a moment you are in for a real enjoyable time.
The engineering is fantastic. Terri who sings the lead vocals has pipes that equal ANY that I've listened, including the best out there. No names necessary.
Name of Album: The New Direction
Engineer: Joe Tarsia
Studio: Sigma Sound Studios, Philadelphia
Basic 4 musicians before addition of strings, etc.
Dick Morgan: Piano, vocal, arranger
Terri Bryant: Lead vocals
Elgin Vines: Bass [My good friend who lives here]
Johnny [Siron] Drums:: I could not quite make out the spelling of last name
Distributed by Chess records, Chicago
For you gals who are serious singers, you have just got to hear Terri perform. She is now doing shows on cruise ships out of Florida.
I hope some of you can find this album and enjoy this great singer.
