We are building a mixing and mastering guide. What are your thoughts?

Hey I'm Tim from Heroic Audio. We are a team of certified audio engineers, specialised in mixing and mastering for mostly dance music.

We have recently launched a new website on which we are starting a basic guide for fellow musicians, producers and audio engineers to better understand mixing and mastering.

This is the first part of a multiple-post series. Would love to get your feedback. I'm sure you'd want to see certain topics further expanded on or clarified.

Appreciate the feedback.

Thanks,
Tim

"For making your whole mix blend together better, we have learned an effective trick from professional musicians. That is to put your drums and effects in the same key (tonic note) as the rest of your track."

Seriously?

Haha no, genuinely a fan. Thank you for the comment though, will make sure to cover different plugins from different brands.

I understand you completely. I've tried to be more clear in Part 2 of this series. Would you be so kind to share your thoughts here as well?
