remove prerecorded reverb?

It's all good :) I do very occasional audio work for a friend & he pays me a few dollars...that's not being a professional.

Then just download the 14-day free trial...and do what you can with it.
It's not magic, but it can help with some mixes...though you won't get to dead-dry ...it's more like, removing the obvious, but leaving some behind...which can be enough.
 
You could try running it through an M/S decoder and if you're lucky, the verb will be in the sides so you can pull it down a bit.
