I have just started using Ezdrummer 2 and I am wondering, do I have to use the Ezdrummer song composer to play midi tracks that I want to split out to multiple instrument tracks? I want to use Pro Tools 12 midi editor to create my drum tracks but it seems with this approach I have to manually create a separate instrument track for each piece of the drum kit, i.e. kick on track 1, snare on track 2 ,etc.
Am I missing something or do I need to move up to Superior Drummer 2 or BFD3 to have a standard midi single drum track which can be split to separate outputs in Pro Tools?
