EQ: Pre-bounced or post?

Hi yall,

I gotta couple questions about EQ during mixdown. For the record I gotta setup using a pair of EMU modules(Mo phatt and Proteus 2000)organized with DP3 software on my Mac and those are running into my Korg D12. Pretty basic setup. My question is should the majority of my EQ be added before I'm bouncing to 2 stereo tracks, or after they've been bounced? And should I be EQing both the prebounced and postbounced tracks. How much should each type receive? I imagine a lot of this has to with how the final mix sounds thru trial and error, which is what i've been doing at the sacrafice of several practice burned music cdr's, but until I'm able to afford some MUCH better studio monitors I was wondering if there are basics to how this procedure works. Any advice would be helpful.

I would certainly perform non-destructive editing.
I usually add EQ during the mix to seperate the tracks and give em some space, and also after the premix. It depends on what Im after or what it needs. Let your ear tell you when you need it.
