automations using a midi keyboard

So i got a midi keyboard with quite a bunch of faders, is there any way to map a fader (They all got 0 to 127 values right?) so that i can use it on a certain setting of a certain plugin i would assign it to? I know there are USB faders out there but if i could just use what i already own to make my workflow a little bit more natural that'd be great...

Not all of the knobs and faders on all of the MIDI keyboards in the world actually send MIDI CCs.

Not all plugins implement MIDI parameter control, but sometimes a DAW hosting the plugin has a way.

Not all DAWs have a way.

But...probably?

Usually when doing automation with MIDI, you have to understand how the DAW records those events. Chances are 99% you can do it, but you will need to read your DAW's documentation on how it is done.
