Allen & Heath Qu 16 and D/A Converter

Along with an Allen & Heath Qu 16 Digital Mixer I also have a Roland Boss KM-6A 6 channel mixer that I would like to use to summ my drums through. The mixer gives a really cool texture to the low wend. The Qu 16 has 10 Mix outs. I wanted to setup 3 Mix outs to go to the KM-6A. The Qu 16 has A/D converters built in. Does anyone have a recommendation for D/A converters for the Mix Out to the KM-6A? Or do I even need one since the Mix Outs are XLR? The Qu 16 does have an AES Digital out and I discovered the Henry Engineering D2A. If I use the XLR Mix out's do I even need to use a D/A converter?

Qu 16 -> D/A -> KM-6A -> Qu 16
