Mix this acoustic track

Hey,
Was wondering if anyone would mind mixing this acoustic track I recorded? I'm new to this so not sure what the procedure usually is, but the Dropbox link has the raw, recording of just guitar and vocals. Would it be possible to spruce it up a bit?
Appreciate any help you can give!

You are talking about "mastering" , mixing would be balancing the inside track, mastering would be improving the final result
You'd might want to make the guitar a bit louder btw...

yep it's mastering, I hope he realises the difference

The guitar is mixed very low, and as a result there's a lot of background noise that even decent noise reduction tools can't resolve without causing a high loss of fidelity. As soon as I tried to bring the mix level's up, the background noise/hiss was just unacceptable.

yes ideally it needs recording with the mic in a better position where the vocal/guitar balance is far better in omni if possible or 2 fig 8 mics.

I also felt the guitar sounded muddy no matter how hard I tried to remove it, when you try and remove it you sacrifice the warmth of the vocal and it's too much of a compromise.

I think this was recorded with a phone, because there's a dramatic cutoff to the higher frequencies and the background noise is common to those cheap mics in phones.
