    Thanks, Boulder. Yeah these recordings were a while back before I knew of rms/peak so now I know how to get a healthier level. Thanks, though, I appreciate any help.

    In reaper, if that is what you are using, just right click on the wav. file, and select item processing, the very first thing on the menu is normalize items. Click it and see what happens. It will raise the gain to the optimum level for Reaper, then set set the fader at zero, proceed to the checkout line......
