This is my latest piece, “Journey Through Narnia.” It’s my first attempt at writing a piece with a John Williams-esque vibe, but I wasn’t just going for John Williams; I was after a JW/Harry Gregson-Williams hybrid feel. Did it turn out or did I just waste 2 days of my life lol??
There is of course live oboe and tin whistle (as always with my pieces). Can anyone spot the part where I was sharp? I promise it’s not my fault; the F# has always been sharp on that horn and I forgot to lip it down
