It appears that It doesn't cost you any up front costs to make CDs but they take a bigger hunk of the sales than most places.

However I would think Amazon has a huge marketing advantage over places like CD Baby, Reverbnation, etc. Because everyone goes to Amazon, not just musicans, but people wanting to buy things.

Anyway, I was wondering if anybody had used it and if you had made any sales?

    thanks.

Yes, that's what I used for my CD! The price was right for me. Used to have it linked in my sig here, but they shortened them up to 2 lines!
    Please buy it here!
Only cost to you is buying a 'proof' copy, then any actual physical copies you want to sell. There are cheaper places to get copies made that I know about now, like Kunaki, but many places that offer online selling don't offer actual CDs, just downloads, so it was easy for me to choose 2 years ago.
Only had 1 complaint of someone getting a bad copy (they duplicate on printable CD-R, of course).

Ok, that makes sense. So basically you get the same thing as you would from Kunaki but it costs more and for that money you get Amazon selling it?
    thanks

Right - if you want to offer your CD or downloads online, you've got to find some place that will do that for you and send you the money. Tunecore and CDBaby are 2 choices.

A single is a whole different ballgame than a complete album. No one buys hard copies of singles (as far as I know) these days.

I'm putting together an album (that is if I can make enough singles I think deserve to be heard).

The single on CD baby was me just dipping my toe in the water. It did get radio play here in the St. Louis Metro area. So I was happy with that.
