best computer for producing

i would go for something a bit faster than a g4. And 10 grand will get you way more than you need. I would get a macbook pro, it's a solid little guy.

I was going to say that Macs perform best at date keeping than PC's do. But, then again, how would I know.

I would stick with PC for production as the customizing options are far better.
Plus a lot more freely available software on Freeware VST sites.
Effects,synths ect
