hey guys, this is a small question that ive been wondering about for a while. Does anyone know a way to turn up the pitch of a sample keeping it at the same temp with out making it distorted, vise versa to, as in turning it down with out distorting the sound quality. if any one knows that would be great. Thanks

using a very high quality timestretch/pitch shift plugin or program.

invest in traktor. It's easier to do this in traktor 2, but that's a hard one to find. I was actually playing with some tracks last night using that so it's odd that this question came up.

if you use reason you can use recycle for all your sampling needs

You can do it very nice on fl studio, first cut out lets stay 2 bars, then timestretch it to 2bars and set it to auto, then just mess iwth the pitch knob, the tempo remains teh same and the shifting is pretty clean.
