Whats good? Stax Brix Just finished BREATH, Check it out and tell me what you think. Theres a few things still to work on but im getting tired I recorded 3 songs in a row, So lend me ya ears and help with the final mix.

on Breath, i'd put a noise gate on the vocal track. i'm not sure if i like the reverb that's on the lead vocals. the chorus vocal is a bit too upfont, maybe try layering more vox on it for a fuller sound instead of just turning it louder than the verses. and the snare and hi hats need to be a little louder too.


on Rap Show, the bass is really distorted. it sounds pretty bad, if its clipping, try a limiter or something, or bring the volume down a bit on the bass hit. i don't think i really like the reverb on vocal on this track either, its too bright or something, too metallic sounding. other than that, its ok.

A beginner+a listner's view-

Rap show- I really liked the beats. But the lyrics lack enrgy or it need some modifications. I cant say xactly what it is. Like on the f*** rap show part, it could be made more punchy wit some add ons like backings or delays somethin like dat.

Breath- I liked it than the other one. Vox does mix well. But just like in rap show, the main part, hard to breath doesnt make much a difference. It lacks somethin.. Though the mix was a nice one. nice work. Peace
