I'm thinking of building a home studio and I don't want to spend a lot
of cash on a real vocal booth. Has anyone got any views or can help me out? I would appreciate it.

Do it the ghetto way.. throw up a couple of mattresses in a corner or something.. or hang heavy quilts boxed into a corner.. I'm sure you can think of something. Of course you'll never get complete silence.. but if you get most of it out the rest will get drowned out by the music.

you can go over to the studio building section. i was stuck and they helped me out a lot.

If you are serious about what you are micing you need to get the micing area isolated from alot of the noise that can be in the control room.... Invest in a booth....

how far is the bathroom that is if you're not in your bedroom unless you'r in the master bedroom
if you're in the kiddy bedroom then empty out the closet
