Hardware to begin with for beginner?

Hi.

I'm thinking to go back to rap production. As for a beginner, what would be considered a must-have equipment without breaking a budget?

I know mic and headphones are needed. Then comes isolation box, pop filter, etc., which can get very expensive but not everything might be needed for ok-like sound?

Thanks!

Computer (the one you're using now is probably good enough for vocal tracking)
Audio interface (doesn't have to be expensive)
Mic -
Headphones
Cabling
Pop Filter
Studio monitors.
Room treatment for mixing (not absolutely necessary for starting out, but if this grows as a hobby or interest, you should definitely give treatment some consideration)
I don't think you need an isolation box. There are some reflection absorbers that mount to the mic stand. I don't have experience with them, but I hear some work well. Look up the sE Reflexion Filter.

Software - most audio interfaces come with a lite form of a popular DAW program.

Yeah what you said plus for rap production you will need some big monitors with 8' bass and a sub woofer. Also don't forget a good mic, preferably a tube condenser.
