Sup, I'm here looking for help with fl studio. I know basics and now I trying to figure out how I can make beats like others I have heard. I am also looking for sounds because factory just aint cuttin it. Thanks alot hope yall can help.
 
A lot of "the sound" of a beat has to do with how you tweak each sound or instrument. FL 5 had a lot of otions/effects and a decent factory bank.

You might post a beat or sound you're looking to create, then we may have a better idea of what exactly you need.
 
look into getting some plugins and use the built in mixer in Fl. Its a Great Help! The BBS maximizer is great. Only because u can eq piano',basslines,drums :) ,guitars. if ur on a budget u wont believe how many free vsts i found through a simple google search...if u really sift ull find a couple that are pretty well programmed.Or try ModernBeats.com if you're willing to buy...they have some free demos too
